Taipei Trip 台北之旅 … 3/9 - 6/9 with Bandit-III

Day 1 -- Bali Beach -- 8M Bandit III -- 25 Knot -- 1500-1800


I arrive airport at 2pm. Had a coffee in terminal & then by taxi. It took 15min to the bali beach (not in Indo), easy!. Wind is arround 20-25 knot, very steady. Da feng was waiting for my 2010 sample . He immidated pumped & took her viginity. Wind blow till 6pm. Its a good start!





Instead of wave zone, there is a seawater lake besides. Student area.


Mike is the last day in taiwan. He will trans back to germany. I was in time ride with him & say goodbye.

Day 2 -- 8M Bandit III -- 25Knot -- 1100-1800


We went to Bon-Zhu's Fruit Garden to pluck grapefruit first, then went to the Bali Beach around 1100


Its 23knot steady wind again when we down there. We went to upwind area this time to catch nice wave shape. That area has many smooth rocks when high tide. Underwater is sandy base.

Today Monkey test the kite, he really looked like crazy monkey move!




Annie & Matthew arrived at 3:30pm, tide started to get low, sandy beach appear then.



Bon-Zhu lead us to a famous small restaurant, another delicious seafood dinner!

Day 3 -- Guan Yin -- 8M Bandit III -- 20Knot -- 1300-1800


Today we leave hotel around 10am. First went to Bali beach, around 15knot. They said this is no wind in taipei standard. We wait till noon, still same force. So we headed down south to Guan Yin. Wind picked up to 20knot & no wave at Guan Yin! I can't believe my eyes. Most kitesurfers came to here as saturday.

Dmitry said he will arrive there on saturday but I can't see him. Maybe I spent too much time in water...


I wanted to eat Taiwanese beef noodle. Of course we went to Tony-G's area.


After dinner, I first thought go to ROOM18 disco. But all guys were beach dress... we went to beer factory finally.
